Children’s Ministry Activities

First Baptist Church invites your family to join us in our children’s ministry activities. We offer weekly mission and choir groups during the school year and other family outings throughout the year. Use the Contact Form at the bottom of this page to ask any questions about the children’s ministry. You can also contact the church by phone, 919-774-4220.

We also invite your family to join us on Sunday mornings for worship at 8:45 or 11:00, and for Sunday School (for all ages) at 9:45 a.m. Nursery is available for babies through age 5 for both services.

Sunday Night Children’s Groups – Meeting 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Sundays

Mission Friends (preschool – kindergarten boys and girls) – Mission Friends provides the building blocks of faith and a basic awareness of God’s love for all people through hands on activities. Meets on the second floor of the education wing. Meets on the second floor of the education wing.

Sunday Night Children’s Choirs – Meeting 6:00 p.m. – 6:45pm, Sundays

Music and Movement Choir (ages 3 – 4)

Music Makers Choir (K – 2nd grade)

Young Musicians (3 rd – 5 th grade)
