MIKE HANDY – Minister of Music/Senior Adults

The Senior Adult Ministry of First Baptist Church provides opportunities for fellowship, growth, encouragement and age appropriate information for senior saints in our church and community.  Monthly lunch meetings include a free prepared meal plus a mix of entertaining and informational programs.  Three to five trips are planned each year, ranging from half-day outings to overnight adventures in North Carolina and the surrounding states.  The Senior Adult Ministry also includes the Morning Movers (senior adult exercise), Line Dancing classes, and prayer Shawl knitting.
