Class information-
We offer a half day preschool program. The preschool hours are from 9:00 to 12:00. The preschool operates from the end of August through mid-May. We offer classes for 1-, 2-, 3-, & 4-year-old children. Your child’s class for the school year is determined by their age as of August 31st. Our children come from Lee, Moore, Harnett, Wake, and Chatham counties. We offer play-based learning opportunities that help each child develop spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and intellectually during their time in our program.
Registration-
Registration is not automatic. We have a registration period for current members of the preschool, their siblings, our waiting list families and church members at the end of January. Public registration starts one week after. There is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $70.00 per child.
Tuition-
Tuition is collected from August -May. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month, will provide a grace period until the 10th. If not paid by the 10th a $10.00 late fee will be added to your child’s account. We offer a discount for sibling sets & church members. Tuition can be made by Cash, Check or ACH withdrawal.

Scholarship-
A memorial scholarship program was established in memory of King Moore Willis who served on the WEC committee. Church members have donated money to this fund which has enabled many preschoolers to continue their education in spite of financial hardships. All donations are appreciated and will help to continue meeting the needs of future students as they come up. These gifts are another way in which we share the love of God with those around us.
Delays and weathers closings-
When Lee County Public Schools are closed due to a weather event, threatening conditions or snow, FBWEC will be closed. If there is a 1-hour delay, FBWEC will open at 9:00 am and there will be no early morning service. If there is a 2-hour delay, FBWEC will open at 10:00 and there will be no early morning service. Weather posting will be on the Facebook page, Band App and listed on WRAL TV 5 scrolling closing board.
Preschool Summer Program-
FBWEC offers a preschool age summer program. Each of the 7 weekly sessions is Tuesday – Thursday from 9:00 to 12:00. All preschool children are welcome to enroll, but children enrolled in FBWEC will get priority. Information on fee, themes and schedule will be sent home in March.
Daily Snacks-
Snacks will be served every day. Most classes send home a snack calendar schedule at the beginning of each month. A sweet and a salty snack plus a juice to share with the class will be each family’s contribution for each month. All snacks must be purchased from a store or bakery and sent in the original wrapping. No homemade snacks can be served.
